Shipping & Fulfillment Policy
Overview
The following terms and conditions regarding Slug Jeans’ shipping and fulfillment are provided to ensure transparency and set expectations on our service and products. By placing an order on the Slug Jeans’ website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.
General
Our shipping and fulfillment policies are subject to stock availability. We do everything possible to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all order items. If this were to occur, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you regarding backordered or out of stock items to determine next steps you would like to take (await restocking of the backordered item or process a refund).
Shipping Costs
The shipping cost for domestic orders is a flat rate of no more than $10 for jeans and $7 for hoodies. Shipping for international orders is calculated during the checkout process based on weight, dimensions and destination of the item(s) in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping costs to the customer.
Fulfillment / Order Processing
Order processing takes place during normal business hours, Monday through Friday (except on national holidays at which time we will be closed).
In general, fulfillment take 2-4 business days after payment is received and processed. While we make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, please understand that we are a very small business with a small (yet amazing) team working hard to impress you.
You will receive a notification email when your order has been fulfilled and shipped, and you will receive a tracking number for your package.
Shipping
In most cases we use USPS and UPS shipping. Domestic shipping may take 2-8 business days depending on the courier and distance from Eugene, Oregon. International shipping may take 7-22 business days.
Delivery times may vary, especially during the pandemic. We cannot guarantee there will not be delays in shipping that are out of our control.
If a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, Slug Jeans is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package.
For returns/exchanges, shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable in the case of returns/exchanges. If you receive a refund, shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
If you are shipping an item over $50 you may want to consider purchasing shipping insurance and/or use a trackable shipping service. We can’t guarantee your returned item will be delivered to us.
Checking the Status of Your Order
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at slugjeansbrand@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Taxes
The customer is responsible for paying any and all taxes, customs and/or duties imposed by your state or country for domestic or international purchases. Sales tax for your state is applied at checkout and added to your total.
Slug Jeans is not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies and it is not the responsibility of Slug Jeans to make the customer aware of these agencies and their actions. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.
If you neglect to pick up your package or refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at the destination country, and it is returned to us, we will not refund the charge for original shipping. Upon receiving the item back, in good condition, you will receive a refund for the value of the goods paid, minus the cost of return shipping.
Should Slug Jeans mistakenly be invoiced directly for any duties or fees from the shipping company after delivery, we will email an invoice for the balance due. This is to be paid immediately.
As with domestic shipping, if a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, Slug Jeans is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package.
Change Of Delivery Address
If you need to change the delivery address of your order, email slugjeansbrand@gmail.com. We are able to change the address at any time before the shipping has been purchased and the item shipped.
P.O. Box or Military Address Shipping
We will ship to P.O. box addresses and military addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.
Parcels Damaged or Lost In Transit
If your package is damaged in-transit, please reject delivery of the parcel from the courier, if possible, and get in touch with customer service at slugjeansbrand@gmail.com. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact us at slugjeansbrand@gmail.com for next steps.
For damaged parcels, we will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.
For parcels lost in transit, we will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
Cancellations
If you change your mind before we have shipped your order, we are able to accept cancellations. Please email us at slugjeansbrand@gmail.com to let us know you would like to cancel. We will issue a refund and cancel the order. If an order has already been shipped, please refer to our refund policy.
Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.
